Interstitial cystitis is a benign painful pathology of the urinary bladder.
It is also known as painful bladder syndrome.[1][2]

- Urgency.
- Frequency.
- Pain.
Treatment:
Gross
- +/-Ulceration.
Microscopic

- +/-Ulceration (uncommon).

- Diagnosis requires clinical correlation.
DDx:

Urinary Bladder, Biopsy: - Inflamed subepithelial tissue; NEGATIVE for appreciable amount of urothelium. - NEGATIVE for evidence of malignancy. Comment: Deepers were cut (x4) and are non-contributory.
