Congestive heart failure, abbreviated CHF, is a clinical diagnosis that is often due to coronary atherosclerosis; however, there are a large number of potential causes.

Clinical

Symptoms:

  • Fatigue.
  • Dyspnea.
  • Cough.
  • Leg swelling.

Signs:

Treatment - LMNOP:

  • Lasix (furosemide).
  • Morphine.
  • Nitrates.
  • Oxygen.
  • Position (elevate head).
