Hyalinizing trabecular tumour, abbreviated HTT, is a rare tumour of the thyroid gland. It is also known as hyalinizing trabecular adenoma.

General

Microscopic

Features:

  • Trabecular arrangement of cells.
    • May have "curved" trabeculae.
  • Extracellular space has hyaline material - key feature.
  • Cytoplasm mimics hyaline material in the extracellular space.
