Thymic carcinoma is a malignant tumour of the thymus. It was previously known as thymic tumour type C.

General

  • Rare.
  • Usually arise de novo, i.e. thymoma is not generally a precursor.
  • Risk factors - possibly: smoking, radiation.[1]
