Vocal cord, also vocal fold, are the structures that make sound.

- Vocal cord nodule.
- Reinke's edema.
Reinke's edema
General
- Associated with smoking and alcohol.[2][3]
- Typical presentation: dysphonia.[4]
- May have DNA copy number variations - but no clearly established link to cancer.[5]
