Sunitinib (marketed with the brand name Sutent by Pfizer) is a tyrosine kinase inhibitor used to treat renal cell carcinoma (RCC).
In RCC acts on:[1]
- VEGF.
- PDGFbeta.
Uses
- Gastrointestinal stromal tumour, imatinib-resistant.[2]
- Renal cell carcinoma - especially clear cell renal cell carcinoma.[3]
