Wikimedia Commons, abbreviated as WC and also known as WikiCommons and Commons, is the repository for images and multimedia files for the Wikimedia Foundation, the foundation behind Wikipedia and a number of other large projects.

There is no official affiliation; however, media for this site use usually uploaded to the WikiCommons, as this site supports the mission of the WikiMedia Foundation.
Onlinepathology makes use of Wikimedia Commons media via the instant commons feature[1] of Mediawiki.
