Atrial fibrillation is rapid irregular non-effective contraction of the atria. It keeps cardiologists busy.
Treatment
- Cardioversion.
- Anticoagulate.

- Hypertension.
- Ischemia (ischemic heart disease)
- Thyroid (hyperthyroidism).
- Stenosis, mitral.
- Alcohol.
Alternate
It is ATRIAL FIB:[1]
- Alcohol.
- Thyroid disease.
- Rheumatic heart disease.
- Ischemic heart disease.
- Atrial myxoma.
- Lung causes (pulmonary embolism, [e[mphysema]]).
- Pheochromocytoma.
- Idiopathic.
- Blood pressure increased (hypertension).
